Get to know the Ostrobothnian food tradition! At Stundars Food Day you see what was the everyday food like at Ostrobothnia in the the first half of the 1900th century. Food were mainly produced near, at own farm. How food looked like and what it consisted? You will experience this through exhibitions, workshops, tastings, photographs and recepts.
During the day Jessica Granlund bakes traditional blood bread at the museum´s bakery and visitors can buy blood bread home (limited amount). Anita Storm shows how to make one of the most important ostrobothnian everyday food, that is salt Baltic herring. She also advices how to make good food from the fish you can fish at Ostrobothnia.
Fooda day is produced by Stundars museum together with KultruÖsterbotten, project Kurant. Program includes to the museum´s ticket.
